SO, I go to
the oldest dancehall in Texas, and guess what NO DANCING ON CONCERT NIGHTS, which is ok. because I didn't pack my dancing boots, and I was worried about that. I was disappointed a little because I wanted to see dancing done the right way! This weekend was a good connect to my roots. Playing a suprise performance was Shooter Jennings, who rocked the house! Not, only did this bring back all the old Waylon memories, but it was the end to a perfect day. A day that had brought us to Luckenbach, where good old willie and waylon used to hang. Saturday night we got to listen to Fred Eaglesmith, who also rocked the house, and again NO DANCING. The whole weekend in was great, I can't wait to go back. The food and Margaritas at
The Gristmill were FANTASTIC. It was first meal in seven years that My husband and I both agreed that every item was perfect. We ate there twice this weekend. :) We took in a winery and two tasting rooms, not to mention a quick shopping sprint up to
Fredricksburg. We stopped by the
wildflower farms on the way by and the Bluebonnets were breathtaking, I bet in two weeks it will be an awesome site. The peferct ending to the day was a morning shopping in San Marcos and then a yummy meal at The Outback with my bestest friend and the hubby. They were all decked out in their new Harley Garb and looked Fabulous.
